This September I recently returned from my three week journey through Southern Italy & Sicily. I have traveled to Italy four times now and never get tired of this beautiful country. Along the way I have met many wonderful people who I have grown very close to and are part of my family now. How does anyone top the history in Rome, citrus-scented towns of Sorrento, Florence's world class art, romance of Venice, quiet serenity of Assisi, pastel tinted fishing villages in Cinque Terre and let's not forget the historical fascination of Pompeii, famous leaning tower of Pisa, wonders of Puglia and we can't leave out the beauty of the Lake Como, Portofino, and the beauty of the Amalfi coast. This is just highlights of Italy! We can't forget Sicily! Many people have left an impression on this gorgeous island for example the Greeks, Germans, Arabs, Romans as it shows in its diverse architecture, unique culture and multinational cuisine. Palermo the flamboyant capital to the ultra-chic Taormina Riviera. I invite you to kick back and savor la dolce vita :)
