From the moment I boarded my very first flight and landed in the vibrant heart of Australia for an extended 8-year adventure, my world truly expanded. Believe it or not, before that epic journey, my only airport familiarity was shuttling friends t...

Ireland holds a charm that's simply irresistible, and I was fortunate enough to experience it firsthand on a group coach tour with CIE Travel. This beautiful, green, and scenic country welcomed me with open arms, offering a plethora of experiences that left an indelible mark.

My journey began in the bustling city of Dublin, meandering through the historical beauty of Glendalough—a place where nature and history beautifully intertwine. Waterford, the oldest city in Ireland, invited me to explore its rich Viking heritage, especially the fascinating Viking Triangle with medieval treasures like Reginald's Tower and the Waterford Crystal factory.

Killarney quickly became a favorite with its vibrant restaurants and lively pubs filled with music and chatter. Driving the Ring of Kerry was unforgettable, showcasing the sprawling landscapes and local charm that make Ireland so unique.

Of course, no trip would be complete without experiencing the majestic Cliffs of Moher, a UNESCO Global Geopark where centuries of geological history stand tall along the breathtaking coast.

Galway, with its bohemian vibe and artistic flair, offered an energetic atmosphere that was both captivating and inspiring. Heading into Northern Ireland unveiled another layer of history and culture, from the impactful stories of "The Troubles" to the intriguing Titanic Museum in Belfast.

Even if a group bus tour isn't on your radar, I highly recommend it. Our driver-guide was a fountain of knowledge—his tales of Irish history were as educational as they were entertaining. Sharing a motorcoach with 40 strangers? Well, I came back with several new friends!

Touring Ireland by coach is an adventure worth considering, but remember, there are many ways to explore this enchanting land. Whether you choose a guided tour or venture on your own journey, Ireland’s allure is bound to captivate your senses and leave you with memories to cherish.
