Africa and Ireland Travel Specialist
In 1994, while studying law in Europe, I took my first major trip abroad with a backpack on my back. Before my classes started in Ireland, I traveled to London, Greece, Italy, Austria, Germany, France, Amsterdam, Switzerland, Ireland, and the Czech Republic. After twenty years, I was able to go back to Europe, and my passion for travel was reignited when I went to Italy in 2014. Since then, I have loved planning and researching vacations and the travel bug hit me hard. I started doing all my own research and decided to become a travel agent while planning my daughter's senior trip to Greece in the spring. I crystallized the idea while spending time in Mexico with my family in June. That's when On a Whim Travel, LLC became a reality. As we set out for Zimbabwe it wasn't the trip we had hoped for..our bush plane couldn't fly due to the rain, so it was a long overland journey first in a bus and then in a safari car with Bee our guide. I traveled to Belize during the pandemic and Mary was knowledgeable about how to navigate and all the requirements for travel. Belize was amazing and met every "ask" I had for the destination. Travel was easy and the accommodations Mary arranged were absolutely perfect! If you want an agent who listens and delivers, Mary is your best bet!!

African a Safaris with Gorillas and the Big Five
I went to Rwanda, Zambia, Zimbabwe and Botswana. This review will only allow me to add one destination. Mary does A LoT of research. She knew I wanted to visit Rwanda amd the gorillas as well as your typical Africa. Safari. Mary made my dreams and ideas a reality. If you have a question, Mary will find the answer. Everything was well planned, accommodations were great as were the food and staff.
